If your business has a need to send invoice links, there is a function in the CardPointe hosted payment page editor that will allow you to do just that.
So in this CardPointe tutorial I’ll show you how to easily send an invoice link to your customers so they can pay and invoice.
FEATURED VIDEO
So to get started, simply log into the Hosted Payment Page editor and navigate to the Connect tab in the main menu
Next click the “Send Payment Request” Sub-tab to find the required fields for your invoice.
Type the email address of your recipient, the dollar amount of your invoice and the customer name.
If you have any custom fields that you have chosen to add to your payment page, they will show up here with a field that allows you to prefill.
In this case I have a terms and conditions agreement selection box, so I’ll just type “Yes” into this box.
The form type can be set to Full or Mini and the main difference between the two is the amount of information that is required to be entered from your customer.
The mini form, is just card number and details, where as the Full page is going to be the same information as required on your standard hosted payment page, which includes the customer name and address info.
Simply click send and the system will send the invoice link for you!
It looks like this, and even pre-populates a “Pay Now” button that when clicked directs your customer to the specified Full or MINI hosted payment page so they can settle their invoice.
This option is great to use if you need a simple and quick way to get a payment link with a specific dollar amount sent out to your customer!
Since this invoicing function uses the hosted payment page editor, all payments made, can be viewed in the PAYMENTS tab as shown here.
Just sort by date or use the search box to find previous transactions.
As usual, all payments made with this invoice option, will show up in the reporting tab inside of your main CardPointe dashboard and that’s because this is a CardPointe software tool.
All CardPointe software and integrated hardware always shows up in the reporting tab inside of CardPointe.
